I was really hoping that “Checkin’ it out” was going to hit the number one spot on Sunday. I personally think that it knocks the tits of Razorlight’s single - although I do quite like My Chemical Romance - ‘Welcome to the Black Parade’, I would never have guessed it would hit number one. The other contender that I would have put there was Scissor Sisters. I was also expecting more from the Fratellis. That’s the chart though I suppose - it’s never been much about the decent music!

I was gutted too. It’s few and far between that real talent happens (as opposed to manufactured crap) and often when it does no one notices
I am sure he will have other stuff that will get there one day.
